French Classical Equitation, Riding and Confidence Coaching.

So what do I do?

If I had only a few seconds in a lift to answer I would say.....

“I coach French Classical Equitation and natural style horsemanship along with confidence coaching and body awareness” " I provide holistic livery where the emotional and physical wellbeing of the horse comes first"

“Some may say I am a horse whisperer, some would say I am a life or confidence or body awareness coach”. These are phrases that most people today can relate to as most have heard them through the media.

Clients may say “Amanda is down to earth, observes in minutia, encourages, and is fair, humorous, patient and flexible. She is understanding of both the horse and riders emotional and physical limitations.

Amanda solves problems without force or violence. She makes riding and horse ownership more enjoyable and fun.

Why do people choose Amanda Seater?

Most people find her because they have almost lost hope in finding the solution to their problems or they have got so disillusioned with the main stream riding schools that they are ready to give up riding or their horse altogether. They don’t want to be told to kick harder pull more or hit harder with a whip. They don’t want to be shouted at or belittled. They are hoping for a better way, a more intuitive, flexible and productive way.

What can Amanda do for you?

Do you have fears, lack confidence, is your horse challenging you? Do you feel out of control or at your wits end? Do you feel ignored by your horse on the ground or when riding? Would you like to solve these problems in a positive and non violent manner?

Despite dealing with the misunderstood horse that is displaying undesirable behaviours, Amanda would prefer to not have these problems develop in the first place so will take youngsters in for initial starting and backing. However Amanda firmly believes the best arrangement is to work with the horse and rider combination together, in their familiar surroundings.

She helps with rider confidence issues from the person too terrified to even get on their beloved horse or those wishing to improve a specific area of performance.

This is done through a combination of French Classical, holistic, natural style approaches to horse and rider training.

Amanda is also a qualified fitness professional and can help with the general fitness, flexibility and core stability needed to move in balance and fluidity with the horse.

She can assist with general body awareness both for the ground work and ridden communication with the horse.

A few words from Amanda Seater

" I want my clients to feel happy and confident and truely enjoy the company of their equine friend, my aim is to have clients feeling inspired at the end of a session with a sense of purpose and self motivation to continue to progress."

"Without self body awareness and control how can we be sure what we communicate to a creature that can feel a fly landing on its skin? How can we make our communications so subtle that they are barely visible to the eye and at one with the horse?"

"Horse riding is an art, it should be beautiful. It may start as a little clunky but if the heart and the spirit is there, moments of beauty will be seen even at the earliest levels. It is our duty to the horse, our dance partner, to seek constant refinement and finesse."
